On August 12, Sinoma Energy Conservation Ltd signed two WHG EPC projects with BATICIM Cement Group in Turkey. It is the second cooperation between SINOMA-EC and BATICIM Cement Group after successfully co-hosting the Waste Heat Power Generation Technology Promotion Conference in Ankara, Turkey, this year. The contracts include a 12MW WHG project of BATICIM Cement Company and a 7MW project of BATISORK Cement Company, which are the subsidiaries of BATICIM Cement Group.
After the completion of the project, it will save standard coal of about 55,000 tons per year and reduce the CO2 emission of 120,000 tons per year, which will make further contribution to the alleviation of global green house effects.
Located in Izmir, Turkey, BATICIM Cement Group is a public company listed in Istanbul Stock Exchange. Its business scope covers cement production, commercial concrete manufacturing, deposition of fly ash, port service and etc. BATICIM Cement Group has already become the 7th largest cement manufacturer in Turkey taking advantage of the annual cement production capacity of 2.2 million tons, which belong to BATICIM and BATISORK, its cement subsidiaries.
In 2009, SINOMA-EC signed a contract on 15MW pure low temperature WHG project with Turkey Akcansa Cement Company of Heidelberg Group, which represents the first step into Turkey market.
At present, WHG projects which are designed with advanced technologies from SINOMA-EC and are constructed by SINOMA-EC can be found in 30 provinces, cities, and autonomous regions in China and has been exported to over 10 countries and regions in Europe, Africa and Southeast Asia.
